ITEC staff teamed up with UNISA library staff for Mandela Day this year to help set up a small library for the children of Catch Projects, and read stories to the children who arrived in the afternoon.
Catch Projects does absolutely wonderful work in Mzamomhle, an informal settlement near Gonubie. Catch offers a range of recreational and educational clubs for the local children, as well as programmes for adults in the area.
We were really honoured to be able to help the children of Mzamomhle in memory of Madiba.
